Country Stars Contribute To CD Supporting 4-H
Reba McEntire remembers what 4-H stands for -- head, heart, hands and health. She's joining Dolly Parton and Luke Bryan in giving back to the organization through the CD "Clover Country." Others contributing to the album include Martina McBride, Faith Hill, and Vince Gill. Sugarland adds "Baby Girl" and Alabama offers "My Home's In Alabama" to the mix. The project was created by EMI Music Special Markets and the National 4-H Council. Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, and Hillary Lindsey also have tracks on the disc. The purpose of "Clover Country" is to generate awareness and support for 4-H. Many of the contributing artists, such as Reba, are former 4-H club members. Lindsey's song "The Clown" will be available for downloading on iTunes. "Clover Country" will be available for purchase through www.4-hmall.org, as well as from local 4-H chapters and on Amazon.com beginning March 25th. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will benefit 4-H. "Clover Country" Track Listing: 1. Hillary Lindsey, "The Clown" 2. Faith Hill, "Stronger" (live version) 3. Johnny Cash, "I Walk the Line" 4.
