Michael Jackson Predicted To Soar High On Billboard Album Charts
Michael Jackson could be making history on the music charts once again. Since the pop superstar's sudden death, fans have ravaged music stores and websites to buy up the singer's massive collection of hits. According to Billboard.com, Jackson's albums "Off the Wall," "Bad" and "Dangerous" are expected to sail into the upper decks of the Billboard Top Pop Catalog Albums chart next week, and his hits compilation album "Number Ones" is expected to reach number one. The new weekly charts will be released on Wednesday, July 1st.
The albums that are selling the most in stores are reported to be the "Number Ones" compilation and "The Essential Michael Jackson." The expanded reissue of "Thriller" is also flying off store shelves. As for digital sales, both iTunes' and Amazon's online music stores have seen rapid sales increases in Jackson's works. |
