Madonna Purchases Massive Manhattan Town Home
Madonna is now the proud owner of a new Manhattan home. According to the "New York Times," the pop queen finalized the sale of a massive Georgian-style town house last week. She paid 32-point-five-million-dollars for the home that was originally listed for 45-million. The property went on the market in October. The 57-foot wide mansion is one of the widest in the area, combining three separate town houses into one home. It contains 13 bedrooms, nine fireplaces, eleven-foot ceilings and a 38-foot wide drawing room. As for a backyard, Madonna's four children can run around a three-thousand-square-foot garden.
Madonna was recently spotted bringing her newly adopted daughter Mercy James home to London from Malawi. Mercy joins Madonna's adopted son David and her biological children Rocco and Lourdes. |
