Paramore "Eyes" The Title
Paramore is ready to share "Brand New Eyes" with their audience, along with some other potential album titles. Bassist Jeremy Davis tells MTV.com their new album title comes from Hayley Williams' lyrics and the first time they heard it, they new it was the right choice right away. The deluxe edition of the album will come with a copy of Williams' lyric journal, including notes on the meanings of each song and several other potential monikers for the disc. Williams says, quote, "The other album titles are in there, from the actual discussion where we sat down in our kitchen in Malibu and hashed it out. There weren't too many. One of them was 'Misguided Ghosts,' which is actually the title of a song on the record...and then another one was 'The Backwards Race,' which was a pretty good one, I got to admit. But from very early on, we knew what we were going to call this album. We really felt like 'Brand New Eyes' just felt right." Paramore's "Brand New Eyes" is due in stores September 29. |
