Demi Lovato Makes Quick Recovery After Stage Stumble
Disney starlet Demi Lovato has proven she can keep her chin up - even after falling on stage before thousands of screaming fans. E! News reports the 16-year-old star of Disney's "Sonny With a Chance" perked right back up after taking a stumble down some stairs while performing in Duluth, Georgia on Monday night. The performance was the seventh stop on Lovato's first headlining tour that kicked off on June 21st. In the middle of her song "Until You're Mine," the pop singer took a tumble down the stairs, mumbled a quick "sorry" and went on with the song. After finishing the number, Lovato jokingly told the audience, quote, "I planned that. The whole falling thing? It was already planned."
Lovato's tour will go on tonight in Lafayette, Louisiana. Seventh season "American Idol" runnerup David Archuleta is opening for Lovato while Jordin Pruitt and KSM are expected to make guest musical appearances.
