Hilary Duff Gets On Board With "Gossip Girl"
Singer and actress Hilary Duff is joining the CW teen drama "Gossip Girl." "Entertainment Weekly" reports the former star of Disney's "Lizzie McGuire" has signed onto the hit CW show for new episodes beginning this fall. Duff will play the role of Olivia Burke, a film star who is looking for a normal college experience. Burke will attend New York University, the same school where some of the show's main characters Blair, Dan and Vanessa will attend. Duff joins Leighton Meester, Blake Lively and Ed Westwick who also star in "Gossip Girl." The new season premieres September 14th on the CW at 9 p.m. Eastern. Duff's first episode will air on October 5th. |
