Mumford & Suns Planning New Album
Mumford & Sons may just be getting their start in the States, but the group has already found success with their debut album "Sigh No More" in England and other parts of the world. Band members are now starting to come up with ideas for their next album as this final push to break yet another audience continues. Singer Marcus Mumford tells England's "XFM," quote, "We've got a few more [songs] that are around the periphery. We haven't had much of a chance to get in a rehearsal room and actually play them through so we play them in soundchecks. We're hoping to be in the studio this year. The songs are coming and it feels natural."
Mumford & Sons have been receiving media attention in recent weeks. Last month the group made their U.S. network TV premiere on "The Late Show with David Letterman," and last week they were the musical guest on "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." Mumford & Sons are launching a UK tour tonight with a show in Manchester, England. |
