Iron Maiden Announces LP, Tour With Dream Theater
Iron Maiden has a new album on the way. Blabbermouth.net says the band's new studio effort, "The Final Frontier," is on track for a summer release. In addition, the group is planning to North American tour in support of the disc. Iron Maiden has tapped Dream Theater to join them on the road trip. Regarding the pairing, Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy says, quote, "Through the years, we've done many one-off shows with Maiden and they've almost all been overseas. It is very exciting to finally be doing a full tour with them and on our side of the pond, no less." "The Frontier Tour" will launch at Superpages.com Center in Dallas, Texas on June 9th.
