Simon & Garfunkel To Play Minnesota Venue
Simon & Garfunkel is announcing another performance date together in 2010. StarTribune.com reports that the duo is playing the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 8th. It's a return to the venue for Simon & Garfunkel, who played the Xcel in 2003 as part its much-hyped reunion tour. Previously, the folk-rock group announced it would participate in the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival from April 23rd through May 2nd this year.
Simon & Garfunkel have disbanded and reformed throughout the years, but haven't released a studio album since "Bridge Over Troubled Water." The duo has -- however -- released two live albums since "Bridge's" 1970 debut. They've released 1982's "The Concert In Central Park" and 2004's "Simon and Garfunkel: Old Friends - Live On Stage." |
