Marie Osmond Returns To The Stage After Son's Funeral
Marie Osmond is back to work. Tuesday night she joined her brother Donny in Las Vegas to resume their show at the Flamingo Hotel -- just a day after she buried her 18-year-old son Michael Blosil. In amateur video footage posted on TMZ.com, Marie addressed the audience as they began their performance. She dedicated the night to her son.
Marie became emotional as the show came to a close with Donny singing the line, "May God keep you in his tender care." Her voice was shaky as she sang, "Until he brings us together...again." That's when Donny put an arm around his sister's waist and said, "You don't have to sing it." Marie's son died last month. He took his own life by jumping from his downtown Los Angeles apartment building. The Osmond family held a private funeral service for Michael in Utah on Monday. |
