Madonna, Macy's Announce "Material Girl" Collection
Madonna and Macy's will soon be launching a "Material Girl" line of fashions together. "Madge's" fashion line with the national retailer will launch just in time for back-to-school shopping this August. The singer's collection of junior clothing will target teens and she's creating it in partnership with her 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes. The "Material Girl" collection will include handbags, jewelry, and shoes. Plans for the line in 2011 call for more than just clothes. There are plans for a possible fragrance and other items spanning "lifestyle and beauty sectors." If all goes well, Madonna and Macy's already have a deal set up to launch more brands together in the future. Prices for items in the "Material Girl" line will cost from 12-to-40-dollars apiece.
Fans can catch Madonna tonight on "The Marriage Ref" with actor Larry David and comedian Ricky Gervais. The show airs on NBC at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. The singer is also releasing her "Sticky & Sweet" tour DVD in the U.S. on April 6th. |
