New Strokes Possible For September
The Strokes are getting several more steps closer to their return. The group, which has been on hiatus for quite some time, is starting to look ahead to new music this year. Singer Julian Casablancas tells "The Chicago Tribune," quote, "I think [the album will] be out in September. I've written a lot of melodies for it, but the other guys have also contributed a lot more -- melodies, choruses, parts. It's way more collaborative. So it'll have a different feel than our other albums." The vocalist went on to confirm the ongoing rumor that the band would be one of the headliners at this year's Lollapalooza festival in Chicago this August. So far, they've only announced performances at the Isle Of Wight festival and Scotland's Rockness festival overseas. |
