Nash Discusses His Second Rock Hall Induction
Graham Nash is joking about having "bookends" in reference to his two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions. Nash entered the Hall of Fame this year with the Hollies and in 1997 as part of Crosby, Stills & Nash. Backstage at Monday night's induction ceremony in New York, Nash said he felt humbled to be recognized for a second time.
After referring to his double honors as "bookends," Nash quipped, quote, "no disrespect to Paul Simon." Simon is also a double inductee. He entered the Hall of Fame in 1990 as part of Simon & Garfunkel and in 2001 as a solo artist. The E-Street Band's Steve Van Zandt presented the Hollies on Monday in a ceremony at Manhattan's Walorf-Astoria Hotel. |
