Taylor Swift Explains Her Video Casting
Taylor Swift is explaining how she picked her "husband" for her new music video. The singer tells "People" she first noticed Toby Hemingway in the film "Feast of Love," and, quote, "thought Toby was so great that I thought it would be perfect to put him in the video." But she admits she still did "some more research" and checked out the 27-year-old British actor in the film "The Covenant," which sealed the deal for her. Swift explains, quote, "I've got this crazy 13 lucky thing, and he walks on screen for the first time wearing a sweatshirt with a 13 on it! That was the deciding factor. It wasn't really up to me, it was about the number." Hemingway is featured in Swift's video for her upcoming single, "Mine," which is due August 16th. It's the first release from her next album, "Speak Now," which will be released October 25th. |
