Trace Adkins' Shows Reflect His Varied Influences
Trace Adkins admits he can't really pinpoint a specific star he emulates. The singer tells TheBoot.com his live show reflects the inspiration he's drawn from a variety of artists' performances. He notes, quote, "I've probably stolen a little bit of something from everybody I've ever seen. I'm just a hodgepodge of everybody who's ever been an influence on me. That's a long and varied list." The latest artist getting the chance to influence Adkins is Toby Keith. The two singers are spending the summer on the road together on Keith's "American Ride" tour. With the trek Adkins is promoting his current single, "This Ain't No Love Song," which is from his upcoming album, "Cowboy's Back In Town." Keith and Adkins will be performing in Paso Robles, California Tuesday night. |
