Neon Trees Keep An Eye On Their Goals
Neon Trees are off to a great start in their career with the top five single "Animal." But the success is not a surprise for the band, as singer Tyler Glenn explains the group has worked towards it. He says it's important to make plans and have aspirations, noting they can provide a sense of purpose and direction. Glenn notes that bassist Branden Campbell's journey with Neon Trees is another good example of setting and meeting goals, and the great things that can come from it. Campbell started with the group on a fill-in basis, but he visualized becoming a band member and foresaw his role before it came to fruition. Glenn adds, quote, "I think this is how the band has gotten where it's gotten," explaining "we as a band just always visualize where we're gonna be and stay true to it." Neon Trees are currently on the road supporting their debut album, "Habits," which features "Animal." The group will be performing in Pomona, California on Wednesday.
